Isaac Edward Okero was elected first President of the law Society of Kenya in las Thursday’s’s election. Okero, a newcomer in LSK national politics trounded seasoned veterans and outgoing Council members Allen Waiyaki Gichuhi and James Aggrey Mwamu, who came second and third respectively in the hotly contested poll. The poll has been interpreted as a signal of a deep yearning for change in the way the Society is managed.
